PRAVEEN KUMAR NEDUNGADI MD& COO, INCREDIBLE INDIA PROJECTS PVT. LTD.
Hitting the Horizon
Praveen Kumar Nedungadi (MD& COO, Incredible India Projects Pvt. Ltd.) on how the potential in the realty market allured him to start his own venture
Issue Date - 01/03/2013

Q. Throw some light on your professional journey and how did you land in the real estate business?

A. I started my stint with Esha International in 1984. Later, my destiny took me to the Sahara Group, which laid the foundation of my knowledge, experience and career as a whole. It was then I thought of starting with my own company, real estate appeared on the horizon. I saw great potential in the realty market, which led to the formation of Incredible India Projects Pvt. Ltd. in 2007.

Q. How have you evolved with your organisation?

A. I had worked with numerous organisations before laying the bedrock of Incredible India Projects Pvt. Ltd. I started with 25 acres of land and today we have catapulted it to 600 acres. We work endlessly to deliver quality products. With our world-class infrastructure services, we are prodigiously making way towards a modern India.

Q. How would you define your ethics and values as a leader?

A. I follow the ‘give-and-take’ philosophy. To me, my people are of utmost importance. I care for them and try to meet their requirements in the best possible way. I lead my workforce on the grounds of trust and well-nurtured relationships.

Q. How do you see the future of real estate sector in tier-II and tier-III cities by 2015?

A. The future looks astonishing. Innovation is keeping the realty realm ablaze. With time, the industry is experiencing changes in terms of better practices such as transparent dealings, environment-friendly edifices and better buyer-seller relationships. I am looking forward to increased government support and better sanitation facilities.

Q. Your take on the importance of education in villages? Any initiative on your part to promote the cause?

A. Education is one asset of an individual that cannot be erased. Unfortunately, rural people are deprived of even the basic education for which they are partly responsible. They do not send their children to schools just to have a second earning member in the household. I greatly feel for the cause and have been working towards it for the last six years.
